Healthy Breakfast – Banana Trees
I love hearing stories from my customers about the experiences they’re having in their newly remodeled kitchens. Most of those stories involve cooking, family and entertaining. That’s why I like to share recipes from time to time.
My friend and nutritionist Nicole Cormier has some great healthy recipes. Here’s one that’s also fun, so great for getting kids to eat healthy in the morning, or even for a healthy snack.
Banana Trees
Ingredients:
1 Joseph’s Brand Lavash Roll-up
1 Large Banana
1 TB of Sunbutter or Natural Peanut Butter
Optional: 1 tsp 100% Organic Honey
Instructions:
Spread Sunbutter on one end of the roll-up. Place banana at the very end and roll until the Sunbutter stops. Then, place honey along the roll-up and continue to roll until complete. Slice the roll-up in 4 – 8 pieces and serve on a chilled plate. Use the tops of a pineapple to resemble Palm Tree leaves.
It couldn’t be much easier. If you have limited time in the morning to make breakfast while getting ready for work and getting the kids ready for school or daycare, give this recipe a try.
