BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS:
It is something we do everyday and we probably don’t even realize it. It’s not just something we try to build between two people looking for that someone special to spend the rest of their life with. It’s also between a mother/father and their children. In addition, the relationship between siblings and friends are important to build a circle of trusted loved ones. I think we can all agree that trust is the main ingredient in a relationship. You know: someone who has your back.
What about building those other relationships? Are you asking yourself: “What other relationships?”? How about the one between you and your boss or your coworkers? You’re with them almost as much (sometimes even more) as you are with your family. So, aren’t these “bonds” important as well?
Here is an example of another form of a relationship that is also very important.
It is the one we need when making an investment. The type of investment I am referring to is the improvement of your home which impacts your life. An example of this is a new kitchen, bath or an office in the home. It is a fact when these environments are done to accommodate the homeowner, life becomes easier and more beautiful. Now that’s an investment!
To help you make all the right choices, you need to establish a relationship with the right designer. This relationship is all about trust. The correct designer will guide you through the myriad of choices keeping in mind your budget, your wants and desires.
We realize this is a large investment. That is why we ask so many questions. On more than one occasion we have heard “No one has ever asked me these questions.” We recognize it is something that you are not only going to spend a big part of your hard earned income on, but something that will affect your everyday life. It is also something you want to “personalize” and make it your own. You know what you want and how you want it. You need an experienced designer to bring it all together.
Don’t you think you need to find the right designer/salesperson to make these important decisions?
You want someone who is going to not only be knowledgeable but to also love what they do. When they love what they do, they care about you and make your project their own. This is a relationship based on trust.
You are also looking for a designer that will earn your confidence by listening to you.
In addition, you want to be able to trust that you can depend on their honesty to guide you in the right direction with your interest in mind.
So, no matter which designer you choose, remember this: A relationship is the power of 2 people who have a bond of trust to accomplish a common goal.
It is after all: your home.
