Caring For Wood Kitchen Cabinetry

Taking care of the fine wood kitchen cabinetry you have in your home will keep it looking beautiful for many years to come.  From regular dusting to cleaning splatters and spills, you can help maintain the beauty of your cabinetry by following these recommendations on how to clean cabinets. 1980’s Kitchen Update

Modern Makeover I think we can all relate to the 1980’s kitchen in the light oak cabinets, laminated tops with a wood edge and the drab colors that surrounded that era. I’ve even seen where people tried to paint the cabinets to give the kitchen another look and feel. Unfortunately the kitchen layout and functionality still disappoints them in every way. I came across some clients a couple of years ago that were just fed up with their 1980’s kitchen. They had started the renovations in the home a few years prior with a bathroom and living room. It was…

Come Home To The Experience Of A Wood Palace Kitchen

The history of Wood Palace Kitchens isn’t what you might expect from a successful kitchen design company. There was no great fanfare. No million dollar investors. Wood Palace isn’t the offshoot of a major corporation looking to break new ground. No, Wood Palace Kitchens is the labor of love of Tim Holick, a skilled craftsman who grew his company from a garage-based project for family and friends into one of the region’s most trusted providers and installers of quality kitchens, cabinetry, and counter-tops. In 1976, Tim began undertaking small projects for friends and family. A countertop here, and set of…

Their family was young and as it is still today, they were on the move with work and family activities. Four projects and many years later, they buy their fourth residence in Hingham…

The Spa Bath

Over the years, the bathroom has evolved into a new revolution for size and a room to be pampered in. The days of our parents struggling for and in the one bath home are long gone. We never had a shower in the one bath home I grew up in. I remember getting up for school and going into the bathroom while my dad was in there getting ready for work. On some of the days, he would be taking a sponge bath while standing at the sink. I remember grimacing and saying; God dad, you’re killing me here. He…
