Wood Palace Kitchens Gives Scholarships

Wood Palace Kitchens,  a premier cabinetry distributor representing select manufacturers and providing turn-kep services for customers,  has established scholarships at Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School (BP) in Taunton,  honoring the memories of Framingham State College student Ashley Donahue and BP teacher Adolph Plante.

Tim Holick,  CEO of Wood Palace Kitchens awarded the scholarships during the May 16th Class Night ceremonies.

The Ashley Donahue Scholarship in the amount of $1,200 will honor the late Framingham State University student who was killed in a car accident in December of 2011.  Ashley was the daughter of Patricia Donahue,  a retired BP teacher and her husband Paul,  who are good friends of Tim’s.

The Adolph Plante Scholarship in the amount of $800 will commemorate the former BP shop teacher.

“This year we have re-named the Wood Palace Kitchens scholarship to honor Ashley Donahue, whose young life was cut short by a tragic accident,” said Holick.  “And we have established the Adolph Plante Scholarship to celebrate a great teacher,  craftsman and mentor.”

Tim,  a graduate of BP,  has remained very active with the school over the years by participating in their mentoring program,  as well as establishing scholarships for students.
